Why can I no longer tell dreams from waking? The faces are all the
same, but their words are different. What I know when I sleep is not
the same as what really happens……which is no fun, because in dreams
it all seems so much simpler! Alas..   It’s Wednesday….but
what does that really mean? I have to stop making ‘the weekend’ the
goal of my week. That makes time go by far too quickly…or too slowly
depending on circumstances. Each day is good enough for itself. Sorry
if I’ve been weird lately…. Love to all.

Another Monday in the ‘dale…..for some reason it started out just not
feeling right. But gradually it got better. Art was nice…we got
to start painting today–though only toning the canvas. Still fun. By
Wednesday, hopefully I can get back into the groove of the real stuff.
I’m also really enjoying my figure drawing class. So that was
good….then dinner at the Kappa house was great (per usual) plus a
little study time spent with my wonderful pledge sisters, informal
meeting, then coffee with Amy, Stacy and Sarah. Great gals I will have
you know (especially my Stacks )!! And then off to the library for
some studying….which ended up being in the snack bar. Goodtimes all
in all.
Still trying to reconcile some things in my
head….working out all that has happened since getting back from break
and trying to see where it will take me (if only it were that easy…).
But I have faith that God’s plan for me will work itself out–not that
I can stop paying attention to it–which perhaps may have happened for
a while…..I just need to learn a little patience.   Today’s
verse: Psalm 119:25

Well I heard something today that I didn’t think I would be hearing this time of year in Michigan of all places–the cheerful singing of birds.  Yes, I know there are birds in Michigan, too, but for me this sound has always been a sign of the coming springtime and, I mean really, this is January in Michigan! Who even knows if spring will come! But today has been a beautiful blue sky day and the birds have reminded me, if only momentarily, of the happy things of yesteryear……ah yes, nostalgia. It’s been a crazy weekend and I think I’m just going to cling to the little things for a while….

Just for those who are curious….

(yes, I’m listening to frou frou again…..seems to be in my head all the time now…..)

Thank God for Fridays. This semester is going to be good for me when it
comes to Fridays….after busy scheduling all week, today of all days,
my classes are all over by 12. This makes me a happy girl for
weekend fun…..or early homework. Whichever suits. So I hope
everyone has a splendiferous Friday!

Well Stacy and I just got back from making the rounds….yes making the
rounds in this freeeeezzzing weather….not so smart, I know. But it
was a fairly good time  and now I’m trying to warm up with some
tea. And that’s about it. Just sittin here….being bored. And not
really tired. Badtimes. Ok. This is all for now. Love everybody!
G’night.
