Fun times tonight with my Kappa chicas!! You gals are the
bestest (especially my big, Emily
). So today was pretty full of
convention stuff (mostly meals–and good ones, too!) but I’m glad that
it’s over and done with. I also was able to attend Cate Larson’s lovely
piano recital this afternoon and I was completely and totally blown
away. Her delicate expression of Bach, Chopin, Schubert and all the
rest were amazing. Although, I have to say that my favorite was her own
personal composition, The Dido Series, involving three monologues from
Vergil’s Aeneid (in the Latin text–sung by Hannah Dixon) put to music
that she wrote! The songs were beautiful!! Such talent….I know that
she will go far and I am so happy to know her! ![]()
It’s been a fairly relaxing weekend so far,
but I know that tomorrow I will have to finish up all the work that I
have been putting off…..for some reason, though, I don’t feel worried
at all. Despite the mental/emotional situations that seem to be going
on for me right now, I am fairly at ease with the knowledge that
everything is going to turn out alright. God has a plan–and that is
enough for me to know that it will be for the best in the end.
I hope that everyone has a good ending to their weekend and a great start to the new week.
Much love.

Too bad we hardly got to hang out this weekend. Oh well.
