Well it appears that the deeply interesting posts are back by popular demand…..
So on that note…let me tell you about my semi-philosophical evening:
So I sat down to do some homework after dinner–all set to read Latin like a speed-demon and then head over to the Kappa house for some movie-watchin’ fun. Interrupted (although not unwilingly) by a somewhat intense (although helpful) IM conversation. Just a side note, although I am not a huge fan of IM conversations just because they lack so much in personality–I must say that in certain situations, they are not so bad. For intance, when you’re having conversation that requires much thought, it is ok, when typing, to have longerish pauses between questions or conjectures. In a spoken conversation, silences like this might be awkward, even if you’re just trying to think of how to word an answer. Ok but that was just a side note.
So immediately following, Stacks and I headed over to the Kappa house where much joyful watching of The Notebook and eating of food commenced. Food was good. Movie was better.
I cried….a lot. Really that is quite rare. I suppose it might be because I have always been in the wrong company to cry while watching a chick flick, but for some reason, surrounded by my cool Kappa sisters, I was totally comfortable with just crying my eyes out. Of course that might have also been part of the effects of some mental turmoil related to other circumstances….however, it was nice to have a good cry. Something only a girl would say. ![]()
Then ensued an amusing and slightly edifying study session with Nate. Funtimes. ![]()
And then I ate ice cream cake. Lots of it. Happy Belated Emily D.!!! ![]()
And now, lovely world, I shall meet with much welcome rest. I shall not worry for tomorrow. Each day has enough worries of its own. God, give me style and give me Grace. God, put a smile upon my face. ![]()

Oh yeah, that’s right… puns aren’t witty.

Hey Meg. I decided to leave you a comment. I don’t really have anything to say. . .So I will just give some words of advice. When a polar bear and a rabid wolverine get in a discussion about the philosophical nature of Plato’s heavenly forms, just let it go. Because either way the tables turn, someone’s getting clawed in the face. Just thought I would let you know. Goodtimes.

Your sentiments about AIM are dead-on.
