So it’s been confirmed…..this semester is legitimately going to be
much busier than last. As in, hardly any leisure time at all!! This can
be a good thing in some ways…..but the fact that I feel bad for even
writing this post cause I really should be getting a headstart on
homework….I mean, is that even right?? This also means less quality
time with those who mean most (and, yes, you know who you are!!) and
that makes me sad.
But no worries, we shall persevere. Hope
everyone’s had a good start to the week!

I am as sick as a dog…..ehhhh….yes I feel like death warmed
over……any other metaphors I can use to describe my current
situation? So don’t worry if you don’t see me at all today…..I only
have one class and I’ll probably go to it and then retire to my room to
sleeeeeep. Until Sunday….maybe…..ok. bye for now.
Oh wait….I can’t forget the most exciting thing that happened last night….
I found out who my Kappa Big Sis is!!!! YAY EMILY!!! Love ya lots! ![]()
Just a little break between English and Choir….I’m really starting to
see how BUSY my life is going to be this semester! Crazy college life
is catchin’ up with me….
(crazy as in academics, not
otherwise….just in case you were wondering). So yes…..even though I
could be doing homework right now, I’m just chillin. Listening to a
schweet CD that Jacky gave me for Christmas. Thanks buddy. ![]()
So we just got back and the “drama” already seems to have re-commenced.
Not that I’m really complaining too much, I suppose it’s all a part of
the experience. But it certainly was nice to have a semi drama-free
month at home. That gave me a lot of time to think through some things
that needed to be thought over and I’m grateful for the way things
worked out at the time. Coming back, however, almost changes the
situation completely. What was working great at home, being surrounded
by my family and olds friends, worked only for a time. Now I have to
try to transfer all of those solid feelings back to the ‘dale so that I
don’t feel as shifty as I did at the end of last semester! It’s not a
hopeless task, I will tell you this. And I have high hopes,
Lord-willin’, for whatever comes my way. ![]()

I’M A KAPPA!!!
woot! Yeah, so pick-up was last night and whadya know, but here I am a living breathing Kappa Kappa Gamma pledge. Our pledge class is made up of 16 wonderful gals and I am so happy to be a member of it, along with Stacy and Elizabeth. I am so looking forward to learning everbody’s names (haha…eventually) and makings lots of life-long friendships. It was such a rush (no pun intended) to run down the hill from Central Hall and into the arms of my fellow Kappas! So here’s to a great new beginning!
*NOTE*
To all my darling Quad members and the G-way boys, this does not mean anything is going to change. If anything, it will only open new doors for all of us (i.e. yeah guys, I will introduce you to all the hot Kappa girls I know) and this semester is going to rock! Love you all so much!!
