What a gorgeously warm day.

The shrubbery outside my room window which was for so long brown and bare, has become white blossoms, budding and bursting into beautiful many-petaled flowers. Clearly it puts me in poetic mood. Music of the moment: Debussy’s Clair de Lune.

What could be more satisfying than stretching out on the warm grass to read a book, listening to the occasional twitter of birds–even they recognize the advent–and let the breeze caress your cheek?

The funk of yesterday has been lifted and this week has found a fresh start.
