My cell phone has arrived! woohoo
That’s one exciting
bit of news…for me anyhow. Not that anyone will call, but hey, at
least now there’s the possibility.
Also, today was another
beautiful day here in the ‘dale and that just puts me in a great mood.
I also have Bible study tonight which should be good, but ever since I
visited Greek Christian Fellowship, I’ve kinda preferred that over the
Olds Bible study. Nothing bad against the Olds gals, I just felt much
more at home in the GCF setting. Anyhow, I’d better get a head start on
some homework before I get bogged down….and I think I’ll go swinging
later. Yes, swinging….like at a playground. Join me if you like….

Back in the Hills and I think I’m glad….. I think….
There are still some things I’m trying to work
out mentally, but I am so very grateful for the break. It was a lot of
fun and very restful and encouraging for me. Now here I am again and
I’m hoping that I will be able to fully put into practice the things
God taught me over break.
Just finished reading this evening’s devotion from Spurgeon ending with: “Therefore lift up a
song, and as you see the smoking incense of the merit of the
Saviour coming up, this evening, before the sapphire throne, let
the incense of your praise go up also.”
And the verse:
“I will accept you with your sweet savour.”
–Ezekiel 20:41
Here’s to a good week!
Oh and check out the dress I’d like to wear to formal….

And we’re HOME!! (finally, might I add). It sure did take long enough…We had planned to be in town by late yesterday evening, but thanks to some unexpected car troubles (nasty little spark plug…) we ended up staying the night in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. It was not a bad stay at all and thanks to the generosity of a kind desk clerk we didn’t have to empty our wallets to get some sleep. We rolled on into town at about 4:45 today and I headed straight on to work which ended up being not too busy so I got to close early.
I’m looking forward to church tomorrow….it will be so nice to hear a real sermon again!! And then after that….off to the BEACH! woohoo! Hope everyone’s break has been as wild and crazy as mine so far!
Much love.
Oh yes!! Spring Break is almost here…..so close…!!! I
have only one more class (and what a bummer that it’s Latin) and then
we’ll be outta here. Got Georgia on my mind….
Also, huge kudos to all who played in the orchestra
concert last night. It was simply stunning. The soloists were amazing,
Beethoven’s 5th was stupdendous….I just can’t think of any more words
to describe how much I enjoyed it all! Giles and I were practically
dancing in the aisles.
Alrighty, well here I am almost all packed
and ready to go home for a wee bit of break and I’m so excited I can’t
sit still so…..I’m out.
Hope everyone has a fun and safe Spring
Break! God bless!! ![]()
