Today is a teal day. 🙂 Hence the new background, new profile pic….I like the color teal. I mean, it’s green and blue at the same time. What more could anyone ask?!?

And it’s a Wednesday, which means that the week is half gone and I’m that much closer to the weekend. Nothing exciting going on except for the Kappa Fresh/Soph Date Dinner which should be entertaining, and will have good food at the very least.

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day, but today is even more special because it is my sister Vivian’s 18th birthday! [She’s getting old.] So everyone stop by her xanga site and wish her a happy birthday! (Here’s mine…):

What could be better than having all of the people you love in the same place? Sounds like a little heaven on earth to me . . . I wish that this weekend could be a regular occurence. But maybe then it wouldn’t be so special. Either way, it’s a great weekend!

I’m pretty sure I haven’t been teething since the age of 1 or 2 but I am right now and it hurts! One of my wisdom teeth is coming in, way back in my mouth, and the entire left side of my gum aches. I need one of those little frozen rings that they give to babies who are teething. Or else I just need my wisdom tooth ripped out….whichever works.

There is a perpetual smell that dormitory microwaves have–something like a mixture of over-buttered popcorn, chicken soup and ravioli. Separately the smells might not be so bad, but when the combination is wafting indscriminately over the beginnings of your morning tea, it’s rather unappealing. Of course, I could have used the stove to heat the water, but that would have taken longer…and made me feel like much less of a college student. 🙂

Yay for more free music (as posted above “The Perishers”)!!

Today was my first real ballet class in a very long time. We actually danced and I felt like I was 8 again–struggling to not lean on the bar too much and trying to keep my turn-out perfect. It was quite enjoyable though and also relaxing. Afterwards, I rushed to photography where I learned how to print a contact sheet–developer is a truly magical thing. I’ve yet to do mine yet but I’m sure when I do, it will be another case of the shakes. My nerves get to me when I can’t wait to see how/if the pictures turn out!

Tonight I’m going to a new Bible study in Mauck. Apparently, we’ll be studying Romans. Giles attends this one, which is how I found out about it. We’ll see how it goes.

Monday again and it feels like the middle of the semester already, even though we’re barely halfway there. What happened this weekend?

— A crazy Friday night filled with lots of sisterly bonding activities.
— A slow Saturday….until evening when I finally was able to perk up and enjoy dinner at Chicago Water Grill with some good company.
— An interesting mass on Sunday morning at the local Catholic church, Chinese (lo mein, NOT chow mein), packing, and tearful goodbyes

Notice there wasn’t much homework-doing in there….. Thank goodness most of my professors are already behind in their lectures.

On tap for tonight….
Laundry, Call Team, Kappa AC, Reading, BED! (<–my favourite part of the day….other than my “morning coffee time” which sadly may have to be restricted b/c I’m addicted to caffeine ).
