The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity but, as we enter the Advent season and prepare to celebrate Christmas, I am trying to slow myself down and take a little time savor the season, express gratitude and share joy with others.
This past week we celebrated not only Thanksgiving with family and friends, but our little man’s first birthday. It was a blast! He was a little bewildered at first by all the attention, but I think he eventually warmed up to the idea of cake and presents. Who wouldn’t? 😉
