Despite the crazy business and lack of sleep, it was actually a pretty
good weekend. Kappa inititation went off without a hitch and I’m so
proud to call these 6 new girls my sisters! SAI Province Day also went
well, even with the impromptu pledge performance. Then the football
game, which we won! THEN the Roche dinner which was neat to go to and I
think it’s pretty cool the number of people that my grandfather knows.
I’m pretty sure he’s got a nationwide network and, if he ever chose to
do so, he could totally pull the strings to carry out a peaceful
takeover of the United States government that would really do us a
whole lot of good. After returning to Hillsdale from Jackson (where the
dinner was) I met up with Patrick and his sis Chelsea and the goodtimes
ensued. Needless to say, a couple house-parties later, I was warm and
snug in bed.
I can hardly believe it but in a little over two weeks we’ll be on
Thanksgiving break. It’s crazy how quickly the time is going, but
I’m trying to take it day to day.

Seriosuly. He is. I’ll have to show you some of my papers (if I have the hard copies still) to get an idea of what he’s like. I think he’s a fair grader, but it’s hard to get an A from him on a paper. But for the most part he’s laid back and really cool about pretty much everything. Well, except Old and Middle English pronunciation. He’s a killer on that. Everything else, though, he’s awesome.
