I think I may have been more productive in these past
couple days (as far as writing goes) than I have been all semester! I
guess it helps to have 6 papers due by Monday–that sort of forces you
to be prolific–but still…it’s nice to have such a sense of
accomplishment. All that’s left is 5 or 6 pages for this Latin research
paper.
And….
……there’s a bird outside my window right this very moment, hopping
around on those odd cement circles in the courtyard…..tangent.
The weather today was so beautiful I didn’t
want it to end. The only thing you can do on days like this is thank
God and enjoy it to the fullest, which, for me, meant watching the
baseball game outside with Stacy. I made a dandelion crown for her and
I don’t even know if we won or not. It’s so great just to pretend like
you’re a child again . . . but then I had to go back inside and study.
It’s a shame how when you walk inside after being out in the sun, you
can’t see anything for a couple seconds because your eyes have to
adjust to the darkness of the inside. That is most likely metaphorical.
Of course that metaphor might wax a bit on the Romantic side (as in
Romantic era literature, i.e. Wordsworth, Byron, Shelley). haha Yes…I
was studying for English.
Anywho . . . I am definitely going to watch Slipper and
the Rose later. Another childhood memory. Feel free to join me . . . ![]()
