Woke up this mornin at 6am to the sound of bird
chorus. Then it was a walk to Grandma’s house (seriously) and now I’m
back home swooning to the smooth sounds of Ray Lamontagne. Wow. It’s
like Damien Rice + Jack Johnson. Loverly. No big plans for today except
job training (at the local movie theater yes!) at 6. And other than
that I’ll probably be workin on the latest portrait commission (another
yes!).
Tomorrow I’m going to a *Tom Jones* concert with a
friend…. haha….if you don’t know who Tom Jones is, google him. The
term “sex bomb” may show up. And what else….? Nothin really. One and
a half weeks till family vacation time. Then after that, 4 weeks till
back to school. Tempus fugit.
Oh and one more thing…
I have been gifted with the amazingly entertaining “Pride &
Prejudice Board Game”. Now this is exciting. I still have not finished
the book, but after watching the 6-hour television series, I’m already
a fan (just in case you didn’t read the post where I gushed about that)
and to have a *board game* that brings these characters to life?!?
Golly gee, it’s like a dream come true! And I’m actually half serious
about this…..and NO that’s NOT weird. Unfortunately, I am home alone
today and thus have no one to join me in the joys of aforesaid game.
