Still no complaints for this week

It’s basically been one giant celebration of my birthday considering
the shopping spree that I had on Monday (thanks to my parents), the new
purse and lovely perfume given yesterday by PeggyDee, and the haircut I
will have tomorrow. Funstuff. But today is my LAST day EVER of being
18. That is kinda sad. 18 has been a very good year for me…..I’ve
made some great memories at home and at school, met some amazing new
people, strengthened long-standing relationships, made a few spiritual
steps (small though they may be) and made some interesting discoveries
about myself (blahblahblahpsychobabbleblah)……in conclusion, I’m
going to miss being 18. BUT 19 will be just as good if not better,
right? Right.

The rest of today will be spent driving PeggyDee to softball practice,
making one more return (in case you don’t know me well, returns are a
beautiful part of life) and having dinner with my family and
Williamson’s BBQ. Rock on (!) Well wishes to all who are or will be
traveling up to Michigan within the next few days–I’m very excited to
see y’all!

No.  Being 19 sucks.  It’s horrible.  You will hate it.

I honestly have made more returns than purchases this summer (and, in my whole life).  Let’s go return stuff together sometimes; it will be a good bonding experience.

Happy birthday!  Today you step into the numerical purgatory between the voting age and entering your 3rd decade on Earth.  But seriously, 19 was great.  Crazy changes in life, but that was the year I spent at hillsdale.  Could we expect anything less?

By the way: Sin City… weird… insane… incredible… freaky… and a few hundred other adjectives I’ll leave out.  …No longer is he a hobbit in my mind.
