What a great weekend!!!
Went home to Monroe with Karen and Vanessa and spent all day Saturday
shopping! Don’t ask how much I spent, rather ask what marvelous
contributions I have made to my winter wardrobe. I assure you, the
latter will procure you a much sweeter answer.
I must at least rave
about the coolest pair of herring bone pants ever and the best fitting
jeans I think I’ve ever owned. It was quite a success. The evening was
spent consuming large amounts of home-cooked lasagna (kudos to Mrs.
Miller) and watching a movie (Inventing the Abbots…only
so-so….kinda depressing) and, believe it or not, we made it to bed by
11:30 (much needed rest.) Sunday we went to church and returned to
Hillsdale thereafter loaded with clothing and plates of chocolate chip
cookies (again, Mrs. Miller rocks). 🙂 So, here are some pictorial
highlights . . .

Cooool new trenchcoat for Vanessa…
It wouldn’t be girls night in without makeovers and universally colored lipstick!

Cold!
Lunch in the Sunday School room. Yum.
The lovely Mrs. Miller and a pupil.
Karen will be a great mother….someday….ahem….
Three lovely ladies (check out the jackets…all new!!!)

Delightful designs….now what did you say about herringbone?

this weekend was pretty wonderful. Now, if boys just didn’t exist at all, it would have been absolutely perfect!
