Another slow day at Carmike Cinemas for the attentive worker (i.e. a customer actually had to tap the glass to get my attention, I was so engrossed in my book). I sorta felt like a caged animal in a zoo, I should have a sign that says: **Please do not tap glass or feed Carmike employee. If annoyed, may become violent**
But, they did send me home early, initially to my slight chagrin, but in the end, great joy. As much as a the extra fifteen dollars would have helped, I never mind being set free on a beautiful afternoon to attend to my own devices.
I ended up buying buttons (for a sweater,of course) at Walmart, and the movie Quest for Camelot–a cheesy Warner Bros. animated film…the title says it all. The evening will be filled with the details of packing, reading, and dreading my orthodontist appointment tomorrow <gag>.
