There does seem to be an increase in popularity of Reformed theology. Of course, it could just be that I’m now noticing what has always been there. The growth of the Soveriegn Grace Church movement has probably been a major player in this, since many of its pastors, including C.J. Mahaney and (the imfamous) Josh Harris. Dr. Kalthoff is having us wrap up the semester by reading Hart’s “The Lost Soul of American Protestantism,” which is about confessional Protestants (ie. Presbyterians, Lutherans and Anglicans).
