Just a few things to note:

Internet has been fully restored to our facilities here in Cortona, including wireless in the common room and auditorium (yay!).

Still sick and I’ve lost my voice… sounds like a) I’ve been smoking for 50+ years b) I’m a pre-teen boy in the midst of a vocal shift c) I’ve got one of those throaty, sultry voices that jazz singers crave. I’m leaning towards choice (c) .

The weather here is still simply gorgeous. I hear there’s this thing called snow going on in Chicago and Michigan… crazy. I’m much farther north and living on a mountain and it’s still in the 60’s (20’s celsius) here and not supposed to snow until November!

Almost finished with my most recent painting — the portrait. Decided on a still life set up for the next one and am almost ready to start it.

Going to a “Friday the 13th” party tonight at the discoteca. Exciting.
