Naturally, like any other 4 and 2 year old girls right now, ours wanted to be Elsa and Anna. Luckily, I already had the Elsa costume and so I needed to make or buy Anna and Olaf. I hit the easy button and bought Anna online and decided to make Olaf. Well come to find out- I accidentally ordered the Elsa coronation gown instead of Anna’s dress. So when you see 2 Elsa’s and an Olaf- just smile and think of the sleep deprived mother who clicked the wrong button sometime in the wee hours of the morning.
Glue gun and glue sticks
2 sheets of felt- black and orange (25 cents at Hobby Lobby)
1 beanie ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
Sleep Sack (already had this)
Brown onsie (already had this)
So total- this costume cost less than $5. I could have used a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby and made a second transaction, but I forgot.
First, I cut out 3 circle, I didn’t want them perfect so it was easy to cut them free handed.
After I cut them out, I hot glued them on the hat.
Pretty cute for being under $5 and only took about 20 minutes to complete!
Have you ever made your own Halloween costumes?
